Staff Sound Bath In-Person
Take a mindful break from your busy day and join us for a relaxing sound bath at the Library, designed to help you recharge, refocus, and unwind.
Led by Librarian Mary Ellen Valverde, a certified yoga instructor and sound meditation facilitator, this 45-minute session combines gentle stretching, meditation, and a calming sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, drums, and chimes to ease stress and restore balance.
Sound baths help reduce stress, quiet the mind, and support better focus and emotional balance. The vibrations can also ease tension in the body, promote relaxation, and leave you feeling refreshed and re-centered for the rest of your day. No experience is needed - just bring yourself and an open mind for a peaceful mid-workday reset.
Please arrive early to get settled so we can start on time. Doors will close at 12:05 to ensure there are no interruptions to the sound bath meditation.
